Let's start with something simple. I'm Jessica, 20-something and live in the great white North. Also known as Canada. Alberta more specifically. I have loved horses longer than I can remember, but only have 4 years of actual riding experience, not including the random rides on trail horses or doubling with friends when we were kids.
So after 2 years of lessons and a year of leasing I decided to take the plunge and picked up my mare. At 14 years old a lot of people turned away, but she has just been the most amazing horse for my needs.
This was a picture of my second time meeting her.. she's giving the camera a weird look but that's just part of her charm.
It's hard to resist such a cute face.
With much thinking and trials and looking over purchase terms. I finally came to the decision that she should be mine. I lost my job, got a new one, and we're all happy.
